Job Description

  • Leads a team of client relation relationship specialists responsible for supporting the retention and growth of TEM’s existing retirement services business.
  • Develops strategic direction for the team across assigned distribution channels and/or product lines.
  • Has thorough understanding of assigned clients’ requirements and develops product/service oriented strategies to meet these requirements.
  • Responsible for assisting field in price negotiations and product/platform modifications and/or transitions.
  • Works closely with various departments across the company to ensure that integrated service is provided to clients.
  • Monitors service levels of the sales support functions to ensure that functions are performed according to business objectives.
  • Supports the SRM, VPICs and Core sales teams in the management of large and/or complex relationships or key “at risk” relationships.
  • Assist with the preparation and delivery of finalist presentations and custom plan review.
  • Responsible for the departmental budget allocation and oversight specific to Client Management function and services.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of sales, relationship management experience
  • 5+ years of staff management experience
  • In-depth knowledge of company’s products and services
  • Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
