Profile Summary

Voya Financial, located in Downtown Minneapolis, is looking for a Senior Project Manager to work closely with our Employee Benefits business unit. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience managing a project budget for 2-3 projects at a time.

Profile Description

  • Oversees the organization of project teams for each project.
  • Manages project initiation, requirements analysis, planning, construction and transition.
  • Manage relationships that meet a specific set of results to support corporate strategies
  • Determines tasks associated with all phases of project, developing and maintaining detailed project plans and providing detailed project costing information.
  • Manage, coordinate and test periodic system events that impact the project
  • Monitors to ensure most efficient way to prioritize and allocate resources to expedite project completion
  • Conducts status meetings to monitor the progress of each project and resolve any issues which may impede the progress of the project; presents to senior management the status and development of new and on-going projects.
  • May manage associates within the function including goal setting, performance planning, feedback, appraisals and development training
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Experience

  • 5 - 7 years of Financial Services experience, preferred
  • 8 - 10 years project management experience strongly, preferred
