As part of the Retirement Financial Planning and Analysis Team (FP&A), this position performs complex financial analysis, reporting, and forecasting functions requiring minimal direction.   Leverages strong finance, organization skills, and advanced Excel skills to manage deliverables.  Scope includes the Retail Wealth Management market within Retirement Services.


Profile Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports on actual and forecast segment results
  • Create and maintain financial models used to forecast assets, revenue and expense drivers
  • Perform variance analysis
  • Perform scenario based financial sensitivities
  • Assist with various other functions related to financial and management reporting
  • Recommend and implement process improvement ideas
  • Maintain documentation of financial processes
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years accounting, analysis, reporting or actuarial experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, actuarial or equivalent business experience
  • FP&A experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Good planning, organization skills and attention to detail; self-motivated, proactive and able to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to balance quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Power user of MS Office products, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Tableau software
  • Hyperion Essbase experience preferred
  • Proficient in financial modeling
  • Professional designation such as CPA, ASA, FSA, CGA or FLMI a plus
