Profile Summary

Voya Financial in Downtown Minneapolis is looking for a Sales Support Specialist to work closely with our Stop Loss product line. In this role you'll be working closely to support inquiries from various Voya entities to manually quote Stop Loss rates. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in customer service and be proficient in the maintenance of Excel documents.


Profile Description

  • Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with the sales offices and underwriters assigned.
  • Screen prospects to determine plan design standards and identify unique requirements.
  • Assist in bringing competitive analysis into the proposal preparation process (i.e. running manual rates)
  • Accurately complete complex broker bid forms and rate grids.
  • Meet strict timeliness and accuracy standards for proposal production while handling large volumes of RFP’s.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience

  • 1-2 years customer service background
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skill
  • Ability to analyze data for required information
  • Demonstrate ability to meet expected daily outputs and deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in a support role is a plus
