The Regional Business Consultant (RBC) supports and represents the Regional Vice President within assigned field office.  The RBC also supports the Tax Exempt Markets sales and recruiting efforts of the local management team, as well as the sales activities of our Distribution Partners.  The RBC is responsible for providing local customer issue resolution, as well as dedicated service and administrative support of Plan Sponsor activities to include:  handling and processing of case specific transactions, paperwork, and reporting; enrollment assistance. 


Summary

Regional Business Consultants provide assistance with customer inquiries, answering or directing client questions or requests. Provide dedicated service and administrative support managing the State of Florida transactions and paperwork. 


RBC Dedicated Sponsor - Primary Objectives:

  • Plan Sponsor Support & Administration - Provide overall support for the dedicated Plan Sponsor
  • Manage dedicated Plan Sponsor transactions and paperwork from servicing agents and directly from Plan Sponsor
  • Sponsor/Case Specific Reporting
  • Support Enrollment Activity of dedicated Plan Sponsor

Principal Responsibilities

  • Key Account relations as dedicated local resource as required in support of plan sponsor. 
  • Manage and build relationships with Voya distribution partners (Advisors/Brokers)
  • Support customer inquiries and questions relating to Voya processes, procedures and products.
  • Manage/review New Business paperwork and other business transactions/case applications to ensure completeness of information and direct to appropriate home office departments for timely processing. 
  • Provide superior service to existing Plan Sponsors, while documenting activities.
  • Perform Compliance Coordinator duties for OSJ branch office in accordance with Field Compliance Procedures of Voya Financial broker/dealer.  Ensure ongoing business practices adhere to State Insurance, FINRA and Securities regulations.
  • Support the OSJ in achieving sales and asset retention goals.
  • Assist RVP in recruiting efforts, licensing, registration and support of distribution channel on boarding process; engage home office licensing and commissions areas as needed.  Work directly with distribution partners and independent representatives.

Education and Experience:

  • 2+ years of Financial Services experience
  • Proficient computer skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet
  • FINRA Series 6 registration required and applicable state insurance license; Series 63 registration
  • Firm understanding of Retirement Industry, Products and FINRA Compliance
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow a process critical; demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness
