Profile Summary:

Seeking a Lead Financial Analyst to join the Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis team in Windsor, CT.  This position will provide insight, analysis, and recommendations for the effective cost management of Shared Service functions, the impact on Business Segments, and ultimately the Enterprise.  The Lead Financial Analyst will provide forecast guidance and play a coordinating role between the segments on directly attributable spend and/or forecast decisions.

Profile Responsibilities:

  • Develops forecast targets for Shared Service areas while keeping the Business Segment impact within the target range
  • Provides variance explanations for monthly reporting package.  Delivers succinct and clear financial summaries tailored to the needs of different customers
  • Prepares reports/analyses to summarize current and projected financial information.
  • Assists in preparation of reporting and management decision making information
  • Partner with the Controller’s team to analyze actuals as compared to forecast/targets for Shared Service areas
  • Builds and maintains financial models for volume impacts and cost save initiatives.
  • Supports and participates in developing and monitoring expense allocation to business lines
  • Ability to condense large amount of data into succinct driver messaging for executive audience.
  • Establishes, modifies, documents and implements best practice methods
  • Assist in ongoing process improvement initiatives as well as other ad-hoc reporting tasks and special projects.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • MBA degree in Finance or related field or equivalent experience
  • 7-10 years Forecasting / Financial Planning & Analysis experience preferred
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team environment
  • Able to manage multiple, often competing priorities.
  • Advanced Excel (V-lookups, H-lookups, Pivot Tables)
  • PowerPoint
  • Hyperion Essbase
