Profile Summary:

***This position can be located in Windsor, CT, Braintree, MA or Work at home within Eastern Time Zone***

Successful Internal Wholesalers help develop the territories they support and drive net new sales through extensive sales and marketing efforts.

Profile Description:

•Outbound calls to both new and existing distribution partners, consultants, and prospective plan sponsors
•Working in close partnership with the Vice President of Institutional Clients corresponding to the Internal Wholesaler’s territory
•Training, educating, and motivating Financial Advisors to utilize Voya® as the Retirement Plan provider of choice within the Tax Exempt Market.
•Providing competitive intelligence and market perspective to distribution partners
•Managing relationships with internal associates and external distribution partners
•Providing marketing materials and other sales support, as requested
•Preparing investments analysis scenarios and mapping strategies
•Attending and interacting with distributions partners and prospective clients at industry events

Education & Experience:
•FINRA Series 6 and 63, or obtained within 90 days of hire.
•State Insurance license where required by law
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
•1-3 years of sales and/or marketing experience, preferably within financial services
•Prior sales experience, including cross selling, in the retirement plan/investment industry
•Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•Strong customer service skills
•Well-developed sense of ethics and integrity
•Team player
•Ability to work in fast paced environment
