Profile Summary:

This role contributes to the achievement of Regional Sales Goals in support of the ERM and Senior Sales Representatives in the region through a variety of activities. This includes not only traditional sales support but also includes territory alignment and expansion and both internal cross sell within Employee Benefits and external cross sell with other Voya business segments.

Profile Description:

  • Assemble powerpoint decks and finalist documents in support of broker and finalist meetings.
  • Manage broker lists and maintain Salesforce.com contacts
  • Identify broker and client opportunities with tools such as miEdge, Voya Leads, Max etc. to drive new business activity.
  • Administer campaigns in Salesforce to create ROI measures around meetings, events and sponsorships.
  • Assist in the initial rep review of RFP data to improve IGO percentages and expedite the quoting process, and work with the support team while reps are traveling to expedite broker responses.
  • Support proactive renewal process to help increase persistency and profitability of renewal offerings.
  • Present updates at weekly sales meetings regarding product, service, etc.
  • Identify and vet cross sell opportunities using internal cross sell tools.
  • Manage cross sell heat map and reporting for cross sell initiatives with other Voya business segments (401k, Tax Exempt Markets, Investment Management).
  • Back up Senior Sales Representatives and Executive Regional Manager when they are out of the office.
  • Organize office and regional meetings.
  • Coordinate communication of product enhancements, bulletins etc. with the region to ensure consistent messaging including presenting at weekly sales meetings.
  • Assist Senior Sales Executives with preparing sold case handoff information to expedite the implementation process.
  • Update Salesforce pipeline with accurate premium projections to improve forecast accuracy.
  • Provide overflow backup of home office sales support during peak season.  Prioritization of Stop Loss opportunities etc.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or business management.
  • 2 or more years business or market analysis experience required (Financial servic• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and partnership skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high paced team environment
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, persuasion and conflict management skills.

  • Understands business and consumer trends as it relates to financial services needs, digital behaviors and worksite benefits.
  • The ability to create an effective presentation as well as the actual presentation to audiences at all corporate levels
  • Demonstrated experience in project management, organizational leadership, and supplier management.
  • Strategic thinker with superior analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently under tight deadlines, with minimal direction.
  • Outstanding PowerPoint, Excel and writing skills required.
