Position Summary:


The Intelligent Process Automation Developer is responsible for the development, execution and support of Robotic Process Automation solutions.  The IPA Developer will work closely with the Process Mapper and our business partners to automate processes using RPA software.  In conjunction with partners in IT, Risk, etc, the COE will be responsible for creating and executing the strategy for Process Automation. 

Position Description:

  • Coding and development of Process Automation
  • Analyzes business processes and identifies RPA opportunities
  • Recommends approach and strategy based on process analysis
  • Support training and certification programs
  • Partner with Sustainability and Deployment teams to create and manage intake of RPA solutions, including decisions around process re-engineering linked to automation solutions
  • Develop standards and Best Practices for RPA including governance, operating model and solutions
  • Design, build, program, test and deploy RPA solutions using an Agile methodology, ensuring successful solution delivery
  • Operational support of new bots
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Strong understanding of IPA & RPA concepts
  • Proven track record of assessment, automation, business process re-engineering
  • Experience with Lean or other cultural transformation methodology a plus
  • Knowledge of programming or configuring – automation tools, work flow systems or other technologies
  • Experience with SQL, VB or other programming languages a plus
  • Knowledge of SDLC process and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to partner with different departments to develop One Voya solutions
  • Experience with market leading Process Automation platforms (UIPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc), deep understanding of technology and architecture concepts preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, must be able to communicate technical concepts into business terms
  • Some travel to Voya offices required
