Profile Summary

Ensures assigned client group(s) has the organizational and human capability to achieve their current and future business objectives through the development and implementation of sound, practical and proactive human resources strategy, policies and practices.   Assigned clients anticipated:   Corporate Finance.

Profile Description

Working in partnership with Head of HR for their assigned businesses/ functions, consults on the human resource implications of business / department strategy and issues (e.g. capability and readiness of the organization and individuals, communication, reward/recognition).  Develops and implements integrated HR plans to support business strategy.  Competently identifies and improves organizational deficiencies/ gaps. Competently handles a variety of technical HR functions (e.g. performance management, leadership development/coaching, compensation).  Delivers tools and techniques to enable managers to coach/develop their staff and drive organizational performance. Drives cultural transformation and focuses on fully aligning the systems, practices, measures, rewards and leadership expectations to support the desired culture.  Contributes as required to new program / policy design efforts. Drives focus on development, training and retention of talent in an environment that values diversity and inclusion. Leads organization design, restructuring and re-engineering efforts. Atlanta site duties:  Support local restructuring efforts, handle escalated Employee Relations issues, play lead role on site Crisis Management team, organize and drive executive visits.  Provide backup support for activities like (but not limited to) new hire orientation, summer intern program, immigration, employment verifications. 

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6-10 years of work experience within human resources
  • Strategic HR Consulting skills
  • Financial Services industry knowledge
  • Ability to drive results (reliable, proactive, able to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment) and partner well across HR
  • Knowledge of current employment laws/regulation
  • Customer service orientation (reliable, responsive, customer focused)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
