Profile Summary:

Responsible for the implementation of all HR programs for a specific client group and works with leaders to determine HR implications of the business strategies. Ensures assigned client group(s) has the organizational and human capability to achieve their current and future business objectives through the development and implementation of sound, practical and proactive human resources strategy, policies and practices.

Profile Description:

  • Working in partnership with the Lead HR Advisor for their assigned business function in identifying human resource implications (talent management, organizational design, employee selection and development, employee relations, executive and employee compensation, work & family issues, performance management, and diversity initiatives) relative to business strategies
  • Competently handles a variety of technical HR functions (e.g. performance management, leadership development/coaching, compensation).  Delivers tools and techniques to enable managers to coach/develop their staff and drive organizational performance.
  • Work in partnership with Centers of Excellence in the administration of on-going employee processes within the business unit (e.g. performance management, compensation review, talent review, etc.) when required.
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Strategic HR Consulting skills
  • Customer service orientation (reliable, responsive, customer focused)
  • Financial Services industry knowledge
  • Ability to drive results (reliable, proactive, able to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment) and partner well across HR
  • 6-10 years of work experience within human resources
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of current employment laws/regulations
