Profile Summary:

The Digital Marketing Summer Student at Voya Financial offers the right candidate an opportunity to obtain real-world experience working in the exciting space where technology and marketing intersect to enhance business outcomes. In collaboration with the Marketing Technology Manager, the student will contribute to no less than one technology enhancement project, providing tangible, demonstrable value for the business.


Profile Description:

  • Audit catalog of hosted marketing assets, ensuring completeness of metadata
  • Participate in internal project and external vendor meetings
  • Assist with coordination of technology-related training events
  • Assist with development of job aids, user guides, and technology-related communications
  • Help triage and respond to user support requests
  • Assist with routine platform maintenance
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Education and Experience:

  • Marketing or Business majors with a strong, demonstrable aptitude for technology are encouraged to apply
  • GPA 3.0 or greater
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel proficiency
  • Team player
  • Self-motivated, excited about learning, comfortable working in a collaborative environment characterized by open sharing of feedback to achieve optimum outcomes
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail oriented with outstanding analytical and problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to work under multiple deadlines at once
  • Available to work 40 hours/week in the summer (10-12 weeks)
