Profile Summary:

Responsible for the Sales Support functions for multiple distribution channels and/or product lines to respond to field requests (RFPs/RFIs) and provide sales support and case design for other related activities.  Proactively executes the sales pursuit process and activities with Sales Leads and Managers.

Profile Description:

  • Responsible for the coordination and delivery of Voya Retirement sales proposals covering the Small/Mid, Tax Exempt or Large Corporate Market to existing and prospective clients for retirement opportunities through RFPs, RFIs and other related requests. 
  • Partner with RFP Specialist and Sales Lead to develop sales strategy
  • Cultivate and enhance relationships with internal business partners.  Be the “voice of the prospect/client and/or market”.
  • Identify product and service gaps and determine appropriate solutions and raise awareness where necessary
  • Understand the financial aspects of each opportunity
  • Provide support on all activities post-delivery of response which includes preparation for finals and site visit presentations
  • Responsible for handoff meeting to Implementation, Relationship Management and Contracts Administration for all new sales and associated tasks
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Experience:

  • BA degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 years sales or sales support experience
  • Thorough understanding of retirement industry and Voya product and service knowledge
  • Excellent communication, writing, negotiation and project management skills
  • CEBS or other comparable certification is preferred
