Profile Summary

Key marketing leadership positon, responsible for developing  and executing marketing strategies that support the growth and retention of the Retirement business at Voya, drive stakeholder engagement, generates sales-ready leads, accelerates opportunities through the sales pipeline and delivers results.  Metrics are repeatable, predictable and scalable, demonstrates contribution to revenue, and improves the ROI of marketing efforts.

  • Profile Description
    • Leads Retirement channel marketing team to develop and implement strategic marketing plan to drive growth and retention
    • Executes marketing programs / campaigns to drive profitable growth and client retention
    • Fosters an environment of learning(test and learn) and ensures that campaign best practices are leveraged
    • Leverages content that attracts leads and uses calls-to-action and other offers to convert to customers
    • Uses marketing automation, content and social media opportunities to optimize lead nurturing processes
    • Establishes and maintains scalable processes that ensure best practices in campaign and lead management
    • Uses metrics, data analytics and dashboards to measure, optimizes and report out campaign effectiveness and business impact
    • Collaborates with Brand Marketing to ensure connection of all campaigns to the Voya brand, maintenance of a one Voya voice to all prospects, and a complete leveraging of all mass advertising and social efforts undertaken at the corporate level
    • Stays current with new technologies, digital marketing trends and potential new channels
    • Implements SEM strategy and has access to HTML Email, landing page and personalization capabilities
    • Serves as business owners point of contact for programs
    • Leads and develops a team of marketing professionals
    • Adopts and utilizes the CI Management System as part of everyday activities to drive behavior; facilitate and foster team collaboration and empowerment; and promote a problem-solving culture.

  • Knowledge and Experience
    • BA or BS or equivalent degree in business, marketing, communications, or related discipline
    • 10  years’ experience in corporate or agency setting
    • 7  years’ experience managing a staff of multiple employees in a matrix organization
    • Demonstrated success in developing, executing and measuring marketing programs/campaigns
    • Solid business acumen with in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, markets and products
    • Experience in all media channels (with a focus on digital engagement)
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including strong ability to present plans and proposals in group and/or 1:1 setting.
