Job Description

As part of the Retirement services business, this position supports complex analysis, reporting, and planning functions. Leverages finance, organization skills, and advanced Excel skills to manage deliverables. Scope includes the Retail Wealth Management market within Retirement Services.

Profile Responsibilities

  • Conducts or assists in the research and documentation of financial analysis, ad hoc requests and special projects 
  • Create and maintain financial models used to forecast assets, revenue and expense drivers
  • Recommends and implements key performance indicators, business dashboards
  • Prepares, reviews and provides analysis of financial data
  • Prepare daily, monthly and quarterly reports and trend analysis in support of business segment needs
  • Perform variance analysis
  • Perform scenario based financial sensitivities
  • Assist with various other functions related to analysis and reporting
  • Recommend and implement process improvement ideas
  • Maintain documentation of processes
  • Analyzes financial information detailing assets, sales business metric reporting
  • Assists other analysts, consultants and managers
  • Delivers succinct and clear summarizations of analysis tailored to the needs of different customers
  • Able to manage multiple, often competing priorities
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge & Experience

  • 1-3 years accounting, analysis, reporting or actuarial experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, actuarial or equivalent business experience
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Good planning, organization skills and attention to detail; self-motivated, proactive and able to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to balance quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Power user of MS Office products, particularly Excel
  • Proficient in financial modeling a plus
