Profile Summary:

Using a combination of business knowledge and analytical skills, the Analytics Solution Consultant

leads the development of new, high-impact analytics capabilities in Voya’s Analytics Center of Excellence (COE). The Analytics COE is Voya’s centralized team of advanced analytics experts, converting vast amounts of business and consumer data into actionable insights. These insights are used to improve business decision-making, strengthen relationships with Voya customers (individuals, institutions and distribution partners), and improve our internal business processes.

Profile Description:

  • Lead the development of multiple, complex analytics projects, directing the work of a matrixed team
  • Communicate analytics findings and recommendations (both written and verbal) to senior business stakeholders
  • Partner with leaders across the Voya businesses to identify and prioritize analytics opportunities
  • Identify and evaluate potential analytics solutions, working with analytics specialists within the COE.
  • Act as business liaison and ambassador for analytics throughout the organization
  • Develop an understanding of key business drivers and strategic priorities in multiple business lines
  • Drive continuous improvements to deployed analytics solutions
  • Share business knowledge and insights to raise the Analytics COE’s “Business IQ”
  • Perform complex data analyses to support decision making

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of professional experience, with significant leadership and hands-on experience analyzing complex datasets (financial services strongly preferred)
  • Demonstrated expertize leading and successfully delivering complex projects and initiatives, including managing within a matrix environment
  • Excellent data and analysis skills, with the ability to test the feasibility of analytics ideas and generate new business insights
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including prior experience developing presentations for senior leadership to communicate complex analytical results / concepts
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential analytics solutions to key business opportunities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet commitments
  • Ability to lead small, high-performance teams of data analytics specialists
  • Ability to quickly learn Voya’s businesses (Retirement, Annuity, Individual Life, Investment Management)
