Profile Summary:

The Spend Control Analyst will play a key role in the reviewing data needed to answer questions, complete analyses, and allow executive leaders to make critical decisions regarding Voya spend decisions. The role will provide strategic insight, analysis, and identify opportunities and threats to support an effective spend governance process.   

Profile Description:
•    Develops, maintains, and distributes standard reports to the organization. Maintains the automated distribution of reports.   
•    Compiles and analyzes complex data to track compliance with spend governance guidelines.  Verifies data for accuracy and is able to identify inconsistencies and recommend corrective action.  This requires an in-depth knowledge of the data and structure and ability to work with executive leaders to clarify information.
•    Gathers additional information through emails and follow-up interviews with spend requestors and other subject matter experts for each spend request. 
•    Makes initial recommendation to spend control team leaders based on company policy and subject matter experts within Voya.
•    Documents processes and policies for the for Spend Control Tower program.  Manages the Spend Control Outlook mailbox; coordinates session scheduling. 
•    Facilitate weekly Spend Challenge conference calls.
•    Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:
•    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required.
•    2+ years business analyst experience preferred.  Finance/Procurement background that includes analysis techniques preferred.
•    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to quickly and accurately assess needs of demanding business clients. 
•    Excellent interpersonal skills, requiring a balance of assertiveness, tact and diplomacy.  Strong oral and writing skills are required as is the ability to work across all levels of the organization
•    Works well independently and in teams, has proven ability to solve problems, and exercise good judgment.  Must have a strong willingness to take initiative.
•    Proficiency with standard office software a must.  Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, SharePoint and Nintex workflows preferred. .
•    Working knowledge of eProcurement systems is helpful.
