Profile Summary:

Seeking a Sr. Product Manager to contribute to sales and client retention through the timely development of corporate markets institutional retirement products, services or features, which are responsive to customer and distribution channel needs and meet company objectives.

Profile Description:

  • Lead, drive and own assigned portfolio of product development initiatives while balancing time, quality, cost and benefit factors
  • Collaborate and partner with the project management team and subject matter experts to ensure effective implementation of new products, product features and services.
  • Ensure product and service development considers competitive intelligence, voice of partner, and the complete end to end process from solicitation to installation and maintenance, with consideration of multiple audiences including the external clients and distribution partners and internal operations and financial business processes.
  • Coordinate and drive build vs buy analysis as appropriate, pricing, distribution, feature set, competitive landscape, timeline, internal and external stakeholder, and tradeoff decisions pertaining to any new products, services, or features.
  • Draft Solutions Delivery Investment Proposals (SDIPs) in conjunction with SMEs and stakeholders
  • Stay abreast of industry, demographic, and regulatory trends and recommend enhancements as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

  • 10 years+ experience with ERISA Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit and Non-Qualified retirement plans, preferably within the small-mid-large corporate markets including TPA and full service
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience, Master of Business Administration is a plus
  • Experience in product development, product management, or a related discipline
  • Experience or knowledge of the waterfall IT development process lifecycle
  • Broad knowledge of retirement products, distribution channels, and services
  • Knowledge of or experience with FIS Omni recordkeeping system is a plus
  • Strong problem solving, decision making, negotiation, interpersonal, collaboration and analytical skill
  • Excellent organizational, prioritizing and time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear way to peers and senior leaders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
