Profile Summary:

***This position can be located in our Windsor, CT or Braintree, MA locations.  Work at home in CT, MA or the Tri-state area for the right candidate***

Dedicated to supporting the Voya Cares Investment Management (Voya IM) /Special Needs Practice Management efforts in distribution and marketing  in partnership with the Voya Cares COE team.  Works with ‘Distribution and Internal Training Leader’ to develop internal Continuous Education program for Voya IM intermediary employees including supporting materials and training content.  Dedicated to enhancing the Voya IM intermediary advisor value add program in partnership with IM intermediary marketing and sales teams.  Supports IM relationship managers for key and strategic Voya IM client relationships. Delivers keynote speaking engagements for advisor, institutional and industry events. Trained as Voya IM spokesperson for Voya Cares in press, website, social, etc.  Sets appropriate expectations with clients and advisors about VC service offering. Promotes Voya Cares events (conferences, webinars, marketing materials, digital resources, tools etc.) to clients and RMs.  Voya IM go-to person for SME, marketing requests, advice, refers complex technical questions to Voya Cares COE.

Profile Description:

  • Serve as Point of Contact (POC) for field advisors for PWSN distribution channels
  • Develop coaching programs for advisors
  • Develop monthly communications articles and literature
  • Analyze market trends and statistics to determine customer needs
  • Meets with key customers, assisting advisors/account representatives with maintaining relationships, and negotiating and closing deals
  • Advise sales staff and channel partners concerning sales and marketing techniques
  • Deliver sales/education presentations to key customers in coordination
  • Coordinate between sales department and other business units as needed

Knowledge & Experience:

  • Technical expertise in support of PWSN – products, trusts, financial planning
  • Experience managing a sales team focused on complex solution and planning
  • Proven business analysis and judgment with the ability to proactively manage workload to meet objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to professionally develop and positively coach team members while communicating the company’s mission and overall direction
  • Graduate of an accredited four-year college with a degree in business administration, marketing, or its equivalent is required. Previous experience with sales, disabilities community, estate planning/legal/trust, or other business experience is preferred.
  • Project management, problem solving, and change management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a diverse sales team
  • Ability to effectively present information and negotiate with C-level executives
  • Ability to build positive working relationships, both internally and externally
