Profile Summary

The Voya User Experience (UX) team is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to work approx. 40 hrs a week in the Windsor office. The intern will learn modern website and layout development using the Adobe Suite of tools and Axure prototyping tools while working with business partners and developers to launch a new platform at Voya.

We are looking for someone that is interested in new web technologies and spends most of their time exploring what is new and exciting in the web development community.  They should have a strong digital arts background and good computer skills to succeed in this role.

Profile Description

•Work on engaging projects that will teach you how apply and develop a new Visual Design language to a web property.

•Be part of a UX development team to learn best practices in visual affordance techniques, the latest thinking in responsive design, and integration into a high pace development unit.

•Participate in additional UX activities such as user testing and interviews.

•Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

•Graphic Design majors with knowledge of User Experience and Human Factor Engineering

•Some working knowledge of Web or HTML Basics

•General Experience with the Adobe Platform (photoshop, illustrator) is required with some experience using various page layout tools, Axure knowledge is a plus.
